ASCII Art Generator
Free online ASCII art generator with multiple font styles, local history, and TXT export.
What is ASCII art?
ASCII art renders large decorative lettering by arranging standard text characters — a classic technique from early terminals, typewriters, and code comments. This tool offers several dot-matrix glyph algorithms including Standard, Banner, Block, Digital, Bubble, and Cyberpunk.
Which characters are supported?
The glyph library covers letters A-Z, digits 0-9, and common punctuation. Unsupported characters render as a ? glyph; Chinese characters are not supported yet.
Why does copied ASCII art look misaligned?
ASCII art depends on monospaced fonts. Make sure the paste target (code editor, Markdown, terminal, or Slack) uses a monospace font or a code block (```).
Can I use the generated art commercially?
Yes. The generated ASCII text is free to use in personal projects or commercial open-source software.
Is my text uploaded to a server?
No. All glyph rendering runs entirely in your browser. Text is never uploaded, and history is stored only in your browser's local storage.
